ABOUT

The Fall Classic is a 3 on 3 basketball tournament held yearly in the city of Rancho Cucamonga.

The Tournament was started in 2002 and is traditionally held on the last Saturday in September.

The Tournament is composed of 8 teams in a double elimination format. A 3 point shooting competition is typically conducted at the mid point of the tournament.

A unique set of rules has been established and a CIF sanctioned referee is utilized for each game.

Teams, player rankings and rule modifications are all determined by a group of volunteer players known only as "The Committee".

The Tournament is by invitation only and is not open to the general public.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Games are played to 9 points.
2. The ball must be cleared at each change of possession behind the arc. 2 points for each shot made behind the arc.
3. The black perimeter line is out. The red zone is out. The pole and padding are out.
4. Do not call your own fouls. This will be hard for some, easier for others. The referee will call all fouls and infractions. Do not argue with the referee.
5. Each team will get 2, one minute time outs per game.
6. On and after the 5th team foul, the player fouled will go to the line for one shot. If missed, the ball is live. Players may enter the lane upon the release. If made, the ball will be taken out by the opposite team.
7. On any inbound pass, the defensive player guarding the ball must stay behind the plane of the 3 point line.
